Independent app studio · India

The store work most indie devs keep postponing.

We build and ship our own apps on the App Store and Google Play. The unglamorous half of that job — listings, keywords, localization, reading reviews properly, getting a rejected build accepted — is what we take on for other independent developers.

Where this comes from

We are the developer, not an agency looking in.

PDFPivot ships on iOS and Android. Three solitaire card games ship on iOS. VidPivot ships on Android. Six apps that we wrote, submitted, had rejected, fixed, and re-submitted ourselves.

Our own iOS listing is published in 24 App Store languages, including localized product names where the storefront rewards them — France sees PDFPivot : Éditeur PDF, Japan sees PDFPivot: PDF編集. Behind those releases sits an internal catalogue of roughly 19,000 translated strings across 25 locales, kept in sync release after release.

And before anything is uploaded it goes through a pre-submission checklist that has grown to about 55 items — every one of them added because something went wrong for us once. That checklist is the product you are actually hiring when you hire us.

Services

Fixed scope, fixed price, no retainer required.

Each of these is a defined piece of work with a deliverable you keep. Prices vary with the size of the app and the number of storefronts.

ASO Audit Sprint

$149 – $249

A line-by-line read of one listing: name, subtitle, keyword field, description, screenshots, category and the terms you are realistically reachable on. You get a ranked list of changes to make, in priority order — not a score out of a hundred.

Review-Mining Report

$199 – $299

Your reviews and your competitors' reviews, read and clustered into recurring complaints, feature requests, and the exact words users reach for. Half of it belongs in your listing copy; the other half is your next three bug fixes.

Play Store Listing Sprint

Quoted per app

A rewrite of the Google Play listing — title, short description, full description, and the graphic assets brief — pushed through the official Play Developer API rather than typed into a form and hoped for.

App Store Localization Sprint

$499 – $1,499

Your listing researched and published in additional App Store languages: name, subtitle, keywords, promotional text and description, uploaded through the App Store Connect API. No SDK, no code change, no new build required.

App Rejection Rescue

$349 – $499

You have a rejection notice and a guideline number. We read the actual rule, tell you what the reviewer is looking at, prepare the changes and the reply, and stay with it until the build is through.

IAP / Paywall Implementation

$799 – $1,499

Products configured on the store side, purchase and restore wired up properly, receipts validated, and a paywall that is honest about what it sells. Both stores have their own traps here; we have already fallen into most of them.

Store-Ops Retainer

$199 – $399 / month

The ongoing version: keyword and ranking watch, new reviews read and summarised, listing refreshed when the store changes the rules, and a submission checklist run before each of your releases.

Straight about one thing

No client logos. No testimonials. Not yet.

This is a new services practice, so there is no wall of logos here and no case studies with invented numbers. We would rather say that plainly than manufacture social proof — you would find out either way.

What we can put in front of you instead: our own apps in both stores, the actual checklist we run, and a sample of the deliverable for whichever piece of work you are considering. Ask before you commit anything.

Tell us the app and the problem.

One email with your store link and what is going wrong is enough to start. We reply with scope, price and a date — or with the reason it is not worth paying us for.
